Upgrades in equipment is the Corps main focus in 2024! In 2023 the Corps responded to 6,957 call for service. An aging population, increase in housing and tourism has increased our call volume by 1,600 calls since 2004. Within the last several months the Corps has placed in service two completely refurbished ambulances and a new 2023 Chevrolet ambulance.

With new equipment the focus of this calendar year the Corps reached out to Senator Victoria Gu for financial assistance. The Corps was recently awarded a Rhode Island Legislative Grant, fully funding the purchase of 5 sets of new equipment carrying bags and portable suction devices.
